Helperby and Brafferton

The twin villages of Brafferton (to the north) and Helperby (to the south) are situated 15 miles north of York, between Easingwold to the east and Boroughbridge to the north. The main street is wide and tree-lined, with attractive housing, There are two active pubs and several small shops together with a modern Millenium Hall which hosts many social events. Brafferton has a very good C-of-E primary school with a wide curriculum. The combined villages have a strong sense of community.
