This vast warehouse used to be a printing works (Lawson Marsden Group, LMG, spun out from Cadbury's). I once watched a workman trying to walk up the roof in a snowstorm and falling down, and sliding slowly and inexorably towards the edge of the roof. He managed to get up and didn't fall off.
