  • Lived here also during 1991-1994. Went to TAS.
  • I lived here 1966 to 1970 and went to TAS as well. Here are some of the best memories from my childhood and adolescense. What a beautiful quiet safe place!
  • Lived here from 2002 till 2005 and had a great time.. The cleanest air in Taipei, and the least traffic...
  • Lived here in the mid 70's. Attended TAS. Loved to sit on Dog Head.
  • I lived in Wellington Heights for 8 years. Attended TAS 1968-1975. Friends were the Hope brothers, the Doolins, Lynette Ogden, Gina Colona, and many others that I wish I could have said goodbye to. Like Glenna.
  • Hi Bruce, I also lived on Wellington Heights then. I believe we knew each other.
  • Hi Bruce: Lived in Wellington Heights 68 to 71, had all your same friends. I had brothers Dwane and Bill. Many great memories of Wellington Heights and TAS. If you have anymore info on people you mentioned, I would love to hear from you, lost touch with everyone there. Some others I hung out with were the Tankersley brothers, Gina Grahm, Richard (Moby) Boyce and so many other great friendships. E-mail me at cliffordce@aol.com.
  • Our family lived in Wellington Heights in 64-66 when my Dad was a Captain at a MAAG radar station. Went to TAS in 3rd grade, and Dominican School in 4th-5th. Google Maps street view ends at the guard shack at the entrance to Wellington :( . But you can see the walled over Japanese Army horseshoe cave entrance on Chongy ng 1st Rd where it splits from Qiyan Rd, just a few hundred feet before the Wellington Heights sign. The tunnel/cave was still open when I was an exploring 9 year old.
  • Holy smokes - reading these comments broght back a flood of merories from 2nd and 3d grade. "TAS" must be Taipei American School? The guy that mentioned "Dog Head" brought back memories of the rocky outcropping that we coiuld see from our house at Road 3, Wellington Heights. Hey, is Jason Hamilton out there somwhere?
  • Hi Bruce, Hi Ed, I remember you two. Don't know if you get back on here much, but Hi anyway.
  • I remember Jason Hamilton. He tried to kiss me in the back of a cab as we were coming up the hill one night. I had never been kissed before and I did not let him kiss me but boy he sure tried. If you find him tell him to e-mail me at loreeclary@hotmail.com. Thanks....Loree Dellfous
  • Here are some others I remember from 1970. Andy Wilcox, Eugene Higgenbotham, Kraig and Kim Sprague, Steve Dermody, Jerry and Steven Shuck..... Loree Dellfous
  • Hello Loree, Just saw this post by accident and thought i would respond . I am Eugene Higginbotham's older brother (attended TAS from 1968 to 1970). I Regret to say and tell you that Eugene (genie to his family) died in a climbing accident back in 1981 , while stationed in yakohoma japan, as a member of the united states air force. I hope your memories of my baby brother are as rewarding and inspiring, as they are for me and genie's other family members. If additional information is needed or you have any other questions , feel free to contact me at higgy9@aol.com. Also if any of the other 'wild bunch' from the old days of wellington heights and teinmou in the late 60's and early 70's are out there, give me a shout. Ray S. Higginbotham (TAS, class of 70).
  • I tried to email you but it will not work. Do you have another email address? I have some photos of Eugene for you. Thanks, Loree
  • I have a photo of you from the Dominican Yearbook. Could scan it and email it to you if you like. Thamks, Loree Clary (Dellfous)
