During the Brititsh Raj the Malwa railways was Initiated and Thakur saheb Takhat Singhji (my Great Grand Father) insisted that a railway station must be built in Namli, and all the major trains should atleast stop for a min. and untill today it happens as a token of appreciation to the Royal family.
