Egypt's most beautiful squares is Midan Al-Tahrir (Liberation Square). It is one of the Arab world's largest squares. Established in what was formerly known district of Ismailia. Today the area is a transportation hub in the heart of the Egyptian capital Cairo. It is situated on the ground adjacent to the River Nile and surrounded by luxury hotels and the headquarters of the League of Arab States and the Building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from the south by (Ministries Complex), the main building on the east is the old American University in Cairo, and the Egyptian Museum from the North. Several street converge on the the square, including the President of Talaat Harb Street (Suleiman Pasha)and Al Qaser Alaini Street .
