Once named Place de la Cathédrale, (Cathedral Place). The tower sits on land owned by the Anglican Christ Church Cathedral, located directly Southeast of the office tower. The church decided to develop the land as it was necessary to pay for the upkeep of the aging church. At the time of the original deal, the office tower tenants would pay around $400,000 in rent to the church. It's design is supposed to look like the church has a giant modern spire.
