In British Indian times Sarie Krishna was a stay point for horsemen messangers who traveled through great desert called Thall and supposed to deliver the orders of the rulers from Lahore to Dera Ismail Khan. Dozens of horsemen were appointed at each stay point. When a mesanger horseman reahed at a stay point, he handed over the order documents to a fresh horseman who whitin no time moved forward and the old one rested at this stay point until he got new post and went back.
At the time of separation of Pakistan and present Bharat the Hindu population migrated to Indian Punjab and Muslim population came here from Indian side and settled here.
Although these people were just like other Pakistanis. Their language is Punjabi and Urdu but for a differentiation these people called them self mohajirs. They mixed up with locals. These new settlers brought new eastern civilization along with them they were keen to get education than the locals and they continue to educate their children and now hold high positions in private and government sectors. By the time people started calling this place Sarie Muhajir instead of Sarie Kirshna but the Historical name is Sarie Krishna and this is correct.
