 village, interesting place

Dymkovo settlement - a village on the left bank of the river Sukhona, opposite Cathedral's Court. The first temples were built here as early as 1383 (perhaps in honor of the victory at Kulikovo field), but from them before we did not come. Now Darya architectural ensemble consists of five-domed church with a belfry Demetrios, single-headed winter church of St. Sergius of Radonezh (both built in the first half of XVIII century), as well as the gate of the corner towers and the church fence. All the monuments are only available for external inspection. From Dymkovo suburb offers a splendid panorama Ustyug.
