  • IT IS THE HEAVEN OF JHARKHAND HAVING QUITE A COOL AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENT. THE MOST FAMOUS PLACE FOR PICNIC IS JAWAHAR GHAT.THE MAIN COMMERCIAL CENTRE OF THE TOWN IS KNOWN AS JHANDA CHOWK.THE MAIN COURIER OF THE TOWN IS FLYKING COURIER.
  • jhumri telaya is one of the most beautiful hilly area.this area is famous for mica,it is one of the most insulator of heat and electricity. produces these mica to abroad.the main commercial places are jhanda chowk and area near jawa talkies. about food habbit the most famous sweet is kalakand of anand vihar hotel,sheetal chaya is the best staying hotel just in front of railway station. Goushala road is famous road where various government offices are located like water tank,electric offices.In near future this road will be connected to the kolkata. patna which is the capital of bihar is just 179 kilometer from here and Ranchi,capital of jharkhand is just 168 kilometer from here.Hazaribhag is the major city which is near by it.

  • I was headmaster of the junior residential section of the sainik school jhumritelaiya in the years l978 and l979 wherefrom Lt Col prem sharan satsangi the then principal sponsored me to officer the purnima bal mandir of the bhadanis as principal.I rendered service in two terms. It a was i who changed the name of the school to read PURNIMA VIDYA MANDIR rather than BAL MANDIR with the intention of raising the school to not only college level but to university level for which land and money were no problems for the wealthiest personalities like shri Sadanand prasad bhadani and gopi krishna bhadani who had promised to provide adequate funds and requisite extent of land . Unfortunately due to family feauds nothing could materialise and the school remained stuck to class vi only. I am praoud to claim to have achieaved for the institution the highest standard among similar institutions in and around the township JHUMRITAELAIYA.I Left the institution with my concluding sentence in my farewell (in the words of John Milton) YET LEAVING HERE A NAME I TRUST, THAT WILL NOT PERISH IN THE DUST. And when I go to Jhumritelaiya for drawing my pension from bank of india and meet some of my associates I am praaised by them for the record of my achieavements overthere.   • it really a deamland for the ppl. a beautiful place surrounded by natural beauty and a place its has so much things that it cant b described in words. i cant forget pvss dav public school where i studied 10 th n 12 th . here ppl r sweet frm heart n by nature too .one cant feel lonely in this place.
