Talquin Wildlife Management Area and State Forest. Hunting is permitted here about 67 days per year, always on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October through April. For the other 298 days per year, this tract is open to the public, admission is free, and hunting is prohibited. Most of the time the area is absolutely deserted, so it's an excellent place to wander in the woods.

The entrance is on Geddie Road on the E side of the tract. The satellite pix look like there are other entrances along Highway 20 along the S side, but these are all chained off.
