The Joe Budd Wildlife Management Area is open for hunting about 60 days per year, all of which are on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. The other 305 days each year it is open to the public, access is free, and hunting is prohibited. Most areas are usually desolate; an excellent place to go for a walk alone in the woods.
