Dillinger Hutte is an integrated steelmaking facility in Dillingen.

In the first step of steelmaking, pig iron is produced from iron ore in two sintering plants and two blast furnaces. This is the task of ROGESA, Roheisengesellschaft Saar mbH, (Crude Iron Saar Ltd), which is a joint partnership of Saarstahl AG and AG der Dillinger Hutte GTS. ROGESA produces about 4.4 million tonnes of hot metal pig iron per year, some of which is shipped to the Saarstahl AG Volklingen steelworks.

In Dillinger Hutte's LD steel plant, the pig iron is refined in Basic Oxygen Furnace converters, then continuously cast to supply the adjacent rolling mills, or cast into ingots for rolling at the company's GTS Industries rolling mill at Dunkirk France.
