Elevation 274m. There is a small marker with distance, names, and arrows pointing to interesting sites viewable from here (Cape Schanck, Melbourne, Bass Strait, etc). The marker reads: "Chapman's Point, in honor of A Pioneer Family, Presented by Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Dyson, 14/12/1929". It is a short walk down a trail to a very large marker that reads: "On April 27th, 1802, Matthew Flinders, R.N. stood on this mount named Arthur's Seat by Lieut. Murray, who discovered the bay Jan. 5th, 1802, Franklin verified this spot in 1844, Dromana Progress Association 1912"
