Manikwada-Dhanaj is called as combined village of "Lord FAKIRAJI MAHARAJ". Fakhirji Maharaj is a saint of secular vission. He was residing here 300 years back. he was a spiritual Guru of grate Shivaji Maharaj era.all the villages near to Dhanaj Manikwada is call as Fakirjis Villiages like Mangla DevI Chikhali,Bramanwada,mangul,Dhaba,pahoor,sindkhed,Pimpari,and many other.maharajs yatra twise in a year.one is on KARTIK EKADASHI & other is on ASHAD.thousand of people form various place come to this celebration.Kala & Dahihandi is main attracion on both occusion. This is a spiritual place in Yavatmal Dist. This village is famous for Fakirji Maharaj Temple and also for providing good education.One sant namely "Namdev Maharaj" is presently staying in this village.
