The Wudang Mountains also known as Wu Tang Shan or simply Wudang, are a small mountain range in the Hubei province of China. It is an important mountain for the taoist religion. There are some ancient buildings in the mountains. They exemplify the architectural and artistic achievements of China's Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. It is these building complex that were inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1994.
