fountain, gazebo
It is located in the center of the roundabout at Main St. and 5th. It was originally built as a plain, whitewashed wooden gazebo over a fountain in 1970. It has been wrecked twice. Because of this, the gazebo is now built with steel rods extending deep underground. The fountain is often the victim of "soapings," where detergent is added to the fountain to cause suds to lather and spew down the street.
