The Waikanae Golf Club is an 18 hole course about 50 minutes drive north of Wellington. It welcomes both casual players and new members onto the course.

It has a pro shop that is open every day and a bar and cafeteria that are open most days of the week.

The Waikanae Golf Course is a beautiful course that is enjoyable to play but still offers plenty of challenge for the keen golfer.

Over the last 15 years the course has been chosen for the qualifying venue when the New Zealand Open has been played at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, and most recently in 2008 hosted the the National Women’s Stroke Play in April and the National Women’s Under 19 Championships in September.
