A small village with approximately 2500 voters situated about 50 kilometers away from the state capital city, Jaipur. As such there is no significant event or landmark site that can be associated with the village. However, its nearly 4 KM away from the regionally famous Hindu temple of god Hanuman and therefore, its known to most people coming to the temple from far off places.

This village is equipped with a secondary school (Hindi medium) along with a few sister schools located within the core of the village as well as in adjacent localities. A post office is also another government installation that can be found right next to the bus station. Most villagers used to depend on farming for their bread and butter until 10 years ago, unfortunately due to continuous drought over the last decade this resource has taken the back seat. Now, abundance of villagers are engaged in construction business ranging from basic help, masons and contractors.

Due to the awareness towards education, people are allowing and helping their kids to get good education, so to succeed in making a good future built upon their intellectual capabilities. This village have seen some great examples in women empowerment as suggested by its recent political history where women candidates have won in the local panchayat (municipal) elections. In conclusion, the village has got the potential to succeed and survive in adversity and hopefully someday it can give the best of youth to serve the nation and its people.
Jai Hind.
