The Rose Garden of El Prado (Florida, Uruguay)

As a kid we would stop. Stopping at The Rose Garden was a must, everytime we went into town to buy supplies for our stay at the ranch. The father of a friend of mine had a cattle ranch not too far from Florida, while he went shopping we as kids would spend some time with Valentin my friend's mother. The variety of roses, the fragance, for us a a time to extend our legs after the trip from montevideo, run and play. This was oh my....some fifty years ago!
