Die Ruapuke-Insel ist eine der südlichsten Inseln in der Hauptinselkette Neuseelands. Die kleine Insel liegt 15 km südlich von Bluff auf der Südinsel und 32 km nordöstlich von Stewart Island am Ostende der Foveaux Strait. Die Insel misst 13 × 6 km und ist rund 16 km² groß.
