Brockhill is a male Category C prison which neighbours HMP Blakenhurst and HMP Hewell Grange in Redditch. It primarily serves the Worcestershire and West Midlands area and provides a reasonable open regime within a secure perimeter.

For this reason, it is only suited to those category C prisoners who are able to display maturity and self-control, and live in a regime where there is a high expectancy of good behaviour. Brockhill offers a gateway to open conditions at Hewell Grange.
