This is one of only four surviving traditional cider houses in Britain.
Officially it's called the "Cider House". Local legend has it that a customer claimed to have been attacked by a monkey while returning home. He offered this somewhat unlikely tale to explain away various scratches and bruises upon his person.....
Its a thatched black and white cottage serving cider and soft drinks from a stable door. You can either drink outside or in the tiny former bakehouse.
Locals often bring snacks to share so bring your own if you don't want to feel left out!
