The main campus is situated in the provincial capitol, the municipality of Santa Cruz. Founded in 1957, initial operations began three years after, in 1960. It occupies 7 hectares, and concentrates on Engineering, with areas of specialization in Information Technology, Computer Studies, Nursing, Teacher Education, Hospitality Management, as well as Law, Public Administration, and the Liberal Arts.
