Aungari dhaam has temple for god 'Sun'. It is famous and has traditional values. In chhath puja in the pond devotee use to pray sun during sunset and sunrise. Chhath puja is a two day celebration and comes the 6th day after deepawali. in the whole bihar it is very famous. -- Rajesh Raushan (Kundawpar).

  • Aungari is a maternal place of my dad.He loves very much this place and always wants to go there.In my life one time i went there on the ocassion of Chhath puja that time my mother and aunt prayed there.That time was unforgatable moment for me bcoz it was unbelivable for and i can't express.I'm not able to say anything more.That's ok bye.   • I am very happy and proud to convey my message to the nation that I have completed my schooling from fourth class to tenth class at Religious place AUNGARI DHAM in middle school and High school respectively .Theplace is famous for sun temple and Chhath Puja which is celebrated twice in a year. My native place (village),Mundipur is situated at hardly one and half KM in the east and south direction from the said place. I often visit to my village praying sun god there . My eyes become moist remembering the thrill and excitment during school time and unmemorable time. I appeal to the people of nation and world as well to visit such religious place once in life and oblige.

My father Mr Sharang and grand paa mr Narayan prasad studied in this village School .Very nice envoirnment to study at the bank of sun - Pond which concists two ( pole ) laat. They always remember mr Balmukund Babu( middle School Headmaster) and mr Nemdhari Babu( highschool head master) with great regard. This School has produced lot of Doctors,Eng & I.A.S. world wide .{ most of them ignore my village ) I am unfortunate -- not to study in this school , even i belong from this villae . I request all the great schoolars of this school and this village , to form one library in this village .and communicate each other . At least one inter net connection too, required in this School , so that i can communicate with my village friends of Aungari Village .   • Hi I am from that very place where the sun temple gate was moved from east to west on the urge of some person .It has many stories behind it. now a days the condn of my village is declining due to some corruptive person. Its nice place to enjoy holiday.
