This park has open fields, play grounds, picnic tables, shelters and bathrooms. There are informational displays on bird watching, the Battle of South Mountain, and President Washington and a small museum on the far end of the parking lot. The Washington Monument is a short hike up hill to the ridge along a well maintained gravel trail.
