  • in manila on bussiness ....stayed in a lot of top hotels ..but this place was brill...the staff couldent do enough to help...and never had a shirt laundered with stiff collars until i stayed here they where like two bits of steel haha! best breakfasts anywere in manila, and if your comming on bussiness go to the in hotel shop and buy yourseld a barong it will inpress the hell out of the peopple you are meating...i spent more time talking about barongs and manila than i did about bussiness and still got the contract haha! im from Northern ireland, and im used to heavy security but this place takes the cake but you do feel safe though.... if your with some local people ask them to show you the real manila not what the tourists see..the stuff under the surface...i cried for an hour after returning to the hotel..but it makes you thankful you got so much and stops you complaining over silly little things. hope you enjoy this lovely place..andy
  • i totally agree with you on this: if your with some local people ask them to show you the real manila not what the tourists see..the stuff under the surface...i cried for an hour after returning to the hotel..but it makes you thankful you got so much and stops you complaining over silly little things.
  • My Favorite Hotel in Manila. Best location and value for money.
  • with my baby Eric, he loved the food and I loved the showers. Hehe. Most of all, we loved being there together.
  • Soirees with my French lover, J. Du jour!
  • We go through Makati every year on the way to visit relatives. We try to stay at some one other hotel on the way in just for experimenting but we ALWAYS stay at the New World on the way out because we know what a great place it is. If it's in your budget, stay on the club floor(s). You get breakfast, all day coffee and soft drinks, and evening "snack" and adult beverages that will often fill you up. The club has an outstanding view of Manila/Makati. As for things to do, you are surrounded by fun shopping and dining. Between the Greenbelt complex, Landmark, the amazing Glorietta, and all the many other stores you can truly shop 'til you drop. There's plenty of daytime fast food from McD's to Shakeys Pizza, noodle shops, Filipino style, etc., etc. Oh yes, lest I forget, the staff at New World is world class. They deserve a plug from this tourist because they really are so great.
