Home of danish astronomer, Tycho Brahe from 1581 to 1597. Built between 1576-1580, Tycho Brahe made as a Danish astronomical observatory. This island was under Denmark during that period. Presently the Island belongs to Sweden. In the year 1600, Johannes Kepler joined as an assistant under Tycho Brahe but, Brahe died in 1601 under mysterious circumstances.
