Al-Marwah is a small hill now located in the Masjid al-Haram it is the end point of the seven walks(rounds) from here to the Assaffa hill located further south. Al-Marwah hill is approximately 350 m (1,150 ft) from the Kaaba. The whole act(procession) is a ritual of the pilgrimage in the Islam religion.
