Residential colony developed in Year 1984. Gautam Nagar is adjacent to Maharana Pratap Nagar best known as MP Nagar commercial complex of Bhopal. Gautam Nagar is uniquely connected to Old Bhopal, New Bhopal and BHEL township. It is 2.5 km from Habibganj Railway station suburban station of Bhopal which is India's first ISO 9000 certified station.

Colony has mostly retired officers from state Govt and BHEL.

It has SBI (Indore)& Maharashtra Bank ATMs Hindustan petrolium Regional office and MP Govt offices near chetak bridge.

  • Housing board colony made in late 60s. It is the finest residential colony within a mile distance the financial hub of New Bhopal.
