Rifugio Antonio Locatelli, 2438 m

Il rifugio Antonio Locatelli - Sepp Innerkofler (in tedesco Dreizinnenhütte) è un rifugio situato nel parco naturale Tre Cime in Alto Adige, a 2.450 m s.l.m.
From the Rifugio Locatelli you see the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, Le Tre Cime di Lavaredo, well known peaks of Dolomites. The 3 incredible peaks stand out from the gravels like the sails of a stoned ship. It's one of the most incredible shows of nature. Cima Grande (the big peak) is 2998 m. high.
We find in this area: Cadini di Misurina, perhaps the most incredible mounts in the Dolomites for their shapes, Devil's fork, Ciadìn del Nevaio (Cadini di Misurina), Sesto Pusteria (Fiscalina Valley), Pian di Cengia, Rifugio Capanna Fondo Valle,
"Croda dei Toni" (Thunders Rock). Croda dei Toni is the highest mountain in Dolomiti di Sesto. Other places are: "Cima Undici" (Peak Eleven), Forcella (fork) Giralba, Forcella dei Toni, Rifugio Pian di Cengia. Have a bath in the crystal waters of little "Lago dei piani" (Lake of Planes): maybe a little cold... Lago dei piani is just under Toblin fork, where is Rifugio Locatelli. Hope you enjoy the hike.
