The mine is accessed from off the Beanville Road in Vershire, Vermont, At one point, this mine and its sister mine just southwest of this site, The Elizabeth Copper mine in Strafford (State Route 132, to Mine Road, and then Copperas Road), were two of the largest producers of copper in the United States.
