Alba is the capital of the "Langhe" district, a place surrounded by smooth cliffs often covered by wineyards. Nevertheless, it is not famous only because of its extraordinary wines, neither for its typical (and extremely expensibe truffles), but also due to its very well run industries, encompassing the Ferrero Company (maker, inter alia, of the world-famous Nutella) and the Miroglio textile Group.
