The Apollo Theatre London ( www.apollotheatrelondon.co.uk ) opened over 100 years ago in 1901 on Shaftesbury Avenue, the heart of Theatreland. A Grade II listed building, the Apollo has been home to countless classic plays and musicals such as Noel Coward's Private Lives and Terrence Rattigan's Flare Path. More recently, the theatre hosted highly-acclaimed play Jerusalem starring Mark Rylance.
