  This building was built by the late president Ebrahim Al-Hamdi as the Supreme Council for Corrections, an anti corruption governmental institution. The current regime of Ali Abdullah Salih (32 years and counting president of Yemen) expropriated the building and converted it into the headquarter of the (23 years and counting) Yemen unchallenged ruling political party, the GPC; otherwise known as the "Cave of Ali Baba and the forty thieves"
