  • My department. M.Sc. Physics 1998-2000. Here I got a chance to leran from great teachers of time, like, Prof. Riazzuddin and Prof. A.H. Nayyar. Alos we were taught by Porf. S.K. Hussnain, Dr. Arshad Majeed Mirza, Dr. Arif, Dr. Khalid Khan(Ever Green) andy many others. Then my classfellows and friends, Turab Ali Abbas, Syed Naveed Riaz Kami, Shahid Lateef. I have great great memories of this place.

  • Yes, for sure, agree with you all. I can recall some words by Dr. Hoodbhoy (who used to come straight to the Physics Deptt instead of going to home after his arrival back from any foreign visit); he said once: "Bhai ajeeb kuch 'Sahr' hai iss department mayn, keh aap iss ko chorr kar jaa nahin sakte" I believe it to be the best deptt at QAU and we were there during best of its time. I earned a lot from it, both regarding education and my life. I wish I can go there to pay-back some of it and we can bring that lively environment back again.
  • spring 1998, I started my physics study in this department. I still remember my friends. Once i ran from this department just b/c of the Dr. AH Nayyar, but few days latter i came back and stayed there at the end of MPhil studies. Here I learnt that we should also read text books.Jamil was very kind through out my stay at QAU. I enjoyed the company of my seniors, juniors and classmates.QAU Physics attracts students like stong gravtational force. In short that was golden age of my life. I love all those who were , are and will join QAU physics.
  • I have the great memories of my life while being Quaidian. I got my Masters degree from the Physics department of this University. I can Never forget my stunning life over there like being at social huts, Stream, Periphery and many more. I wish to be there always.
