The Botika ng Bayan is an upscale drugstore that provides imported medicines, as well as medicines from local manufacturers, to Filipinos for a cheaper price. It is part of Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's social program to make available frequently used medicines at half the price for the less privileged Filipinos, which include senior citizens.

Launched in December 2004, the Botika ng Bayan imports mainly from India and Pakistan but also carries local branded generic drugs. Most of the medicines being imported are for asthma, hypertension and diabetes. Through this project, a network of privately run drug stores would be set up to provide products guaranteed by the Department of Health (DOH) and the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD).
