Willain is a small village in Hertfordshire with a mix of private houses and cottages still owned by the Letchworth Heritage foundation, who own 98% of the land. The village is in a conservation area which along with the need to get Heritage concurence make change very difficult to effect. This can be frustrating but at the same time is partly responsible for it developing charm.
