Sebha Fortress

Depicted on the ten-dinars banknote of Libya and on the stamps of the short lived philatelic territory of Fezzan-Ghadames. It was orginally built by the Italians as "Fortezza Margherita" and was taken on 8th January 1943 by the French general Leclerc, after whom it was named then.
