Oenarodo

Oenarodo, or Oenaro Island, is the location of the Korean Space Center, called Naro Space Center. The island has an area of 26.46 sq km/10.2 sq mi with a population of about 3,500.

Narodo consists of Oenarodo and Naenarodo, located 25kms southeast of Goheung-eup. Oenarodo, is a part of Dadohae National Marine Park. Fresh seafood at a low price is readily available at Narodo Port (Chukjeong Port) on Oenarodo.

All of Narodo is famous for its’ fishing. Every season a variety of fish can be caught. The beaches in Narodo have a gentle decline and are skirted by a forest of evergreen trees aged hundreds of years, which offer great shade from the summer heat.
