It has been called after the visit of Ali Ibin Dinnar - Sultan Of Darfoor at 1898G (110 years ago)who came for Hajj and found the place, Meqat Tho-Al-Holaifah, in a very bad shape so he ordered to restore the whole place including the WATER WELLS, and now you can guess why it is called "Abear Ali!"
