Carbon black usually produced by the incomplete combustion of petroleum products.
Carbon black is a form of amorphous carbon with a surface area to volume ratio
extremely high, much more of "soot".
For handling and transport, it is pellettized (wet or dry).
Carbon black is mainly used as reinforcement in rubber and plastic products; it's also used as pigment.
