São Paulo de Olivença (first part, Portuguese meaning Saint Paul) is a community and a municipality in the state of Amazonas in Brazil. Its population was 28,861 (2005) and its area is 19,746 km². The municipality of Santo Antônio do Içá is located about 170 to 175 km ENE and it was separated in 1955 from this municipality.

  • This is misplaced due to relying on the map and terrain views without consulting a real map. The city is on the south bank of the river, not the north. A look at the satellite/hybrid view will confirm this. There is a city on the south bank - and nothing where this rectangle was placed. I shall try to move it.
