Concord Grapes

These are some heirloom Concord grapes relocated from across the river in Dresden. Ironically, sources claim they may have originally been propagated just up the road at the Noble Farm (no longer extant). Sucessful processing has resulted in Concord Grape jelly and some persistent t-shirt stains. Unsuccessful attempts at Concord Grape wine were initiated (2005) but were abandoned when the fermentation process met with unexpected difficulties.

The plants themselves have been pruned inconsistently and appear at one time to have hung from a crude trellis, but this latter claim cannot be confirmed.
