cave / caves, tourist attraction
A small "cave" (actually a hollow in a limestone formation) which inspired the limestone cave found in James Fenimore Cooper's historical novel The Last of the Mohicans. It has markings left by early pioneers of the area. There is now a small visitor platform and interpretive display which can be reached by driving underneath the bridge but visitors cannot actually access the cave, as it is on an island and is usually partially submerged in a lot of water and hard to get to.
