Fuji Speedway is a race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
The circuit opened in late 1965, and it currently hosts the Formula One Japanese Grand Prix. It held the first Formula One Grand Prix of Japan in 1976 and again 1977, but after a 30-year hiatus, it returned to the Mount Fuji Circuit for 2007. The circuit has also held a variety of different forms of motorsports (drag racing, USAC cars, sports cars, sports-prototypes, touring cars, drifting) since its opening.
The real-life circuit is also depicted in the video games Pole Position (1982), as well as Gran Turismo 4 (2005).
