  • Dulha is well known village in Bisfi block of Madhubani district in Bihar, India. The population is dominated by Maithil Brahmin. The village is surrounded by Bhoj Pandaul in East, Rupauli in North-West and Khairi Banka in South. The literacy rate is 90%. Agriculture was the main occupation but now majority of population have migrated to cities in search of better job prospects. The village has one govt. run middle school and a small health centre. High school students have to travel 6 to 7 KMs every day to reach their schools. For higher education, students have to either go to Madhubani or Darbhanga and stay in lodge (private hostels) untill they complete their education. This is very expensive. Girls students generally leave studes after 10th as their is no colleges in nearby location.

All my little friends are grown up now, no longer staying in you. My life begins in you, my little dollhouse and playing yard. Remembering those days when I used to make little houses with mud. Sharing with my friends with gifts made by playthough and mud. The days when our dolls would marry each other standing together. Our fun, love and joy, how wonderful were those days with pleasure. Is it possible to reach the days that passed away? No, they shall never come back, only the memories It makes me sad; I don't always understand these queries Those memories clicking on my mind like a movie of life that passed away I am wishing now to go back to my village to find my youth and forgotten days keeping my memory along the way On my journey to the next step; Walking through the life of my Adventure until the last breath;
