  • A most peaceful and tranquil farming village. The Kali Bein - small river associated with Guru Nanak Ji flows through. Its water wass jet black ( Hence the name Black Bein) due to pollution and black soil on its river banks. The Baba seechewal has done a yeomans work restoring the river and cleaning up the riverside banks. Today a large section of the river is pristine clear, its banks are planted with trees and parks...well worth a visit. Just 10 KM away is the historic town of Sultanpur Lodhi that has many Gurdwaras and historical places associated with the Founder of Sikh Religion - Guru Nanak Ji Sahib - Gurdwara Hatt Sahib, House of Nanak, House of Bibi nanki sister of Nanak, Gurdwara Ber Sahib, Gurdwara Sacha Sauda, Gurdwara where Guru ji read the Nimaaz with the Kazi.
