Kutno is a town in central Poland with 42,704 inhabitants (Decrease, 31 December 2021) and an area of 33.59 km² (12.97 sq mi). Situated in the Łódź Voivodeship (since 1999), previously in Płock Voivodeship (1975-1998). It is the capital of Kutno County. The Car Plates in Kutno are EKU. The timezone in Kutno is GMT+1. Kutno has a rich history, during the Napoleonic wars, Napoleon visited Kutno and spent some time there. Many Polish kings and queens have visited the town and stayed in the Saxon palace in the centre of the town.
