University includes: 5 higher educational establishments of the 1-2 accreditation levels, scientific establishments and production agricultural enterprises, 5 research institutes, 13 problem laboratories, Institute of post-graduate studies for specialists of veterinary medicine, Institute of European integration, educational-scientifically experimental center of BNAU.
Training of specialists is carried out on the following directions: agronomics, landscape design,veterinary medicine, technology of production and processing of of stock-raising products, ecology, protection of environment and balanced use of nature, water bioresources and aquiculture, finances and credit, business accounting and audit, enterprise economy, management, law, philology.

All forms of studies are used including extra-mural and external studies.
Over 8000 students study at our university.

An educational process is provided by 12 academicians, 54 doctors of sciences, professors, 241 candidates of sciences, 24 honoured workers of science of Ukraine, honoured workers of education, higher school, agriculture, physical training and sport of Ukraine.

The university co-operates with many foreign countries on implementation of the general programs: AGFED, TEMPUS-TASIS, RIP, NOW-HOW, NATO, DAAD, Dzhikap, SusFood, Hops, Concordia, Seps, Zenkenberg, Oiler, Revival, Eurasia, Fulbright, Cochran and and others.
