The Museum of History of Polish Jews (Polish: Muzeum Historii Żydów Polskich) is a new museum on the site of the Warsaw ghetto. The cornerstone was laid in 2007 and the museum opened in April, 2013. The museum features multimedia exhibits on the vibrant Jewish community that flourished in Poland for a thousand years. The building, a modern structure in glass and limestone, was designed by Finnish architects Rainer Mahlamäki and Ilmari Lahdelma.

Museum is a point of reference for all interested in heritage of Polish Jews and a symbol of turning point in the relations of Poles and Jews. 100'000 Jews visiting Poland yearly will find the moist important information, which will allow them to consciously shape their plans of travels to the places of their native history.

AN ACT To provide assistance for the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, Poland.
SEC. 3. ASSISTANCE FOR THE MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF POLISH JEWS.
(a) In General- Assistance provided by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the Department of State shall be made available to assist in the development of the permanent collection of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. (b) Authorization for Assistance- To carry out the purposes of subsection (a), the Secretary of State is authorized to provide $5,000,000, which shall remain available until expended, to the Museum for the History of Polish Jews.
